GRS-certified production must have an environmental management system for chemicals, energy, water usage, air emissions, and waste. Social policies protect waste collectors and factory workers employed in GRS production. GRS ensures controlled working hours, fair salary payment, and safe and hygienic working conditions. Moreover, child labour and discrimination are strongly prohibited.
