LY23 Designer's Choice

Our Late Year collections always call out the luxurious side of us, and we love to play with rich-looking fabrics and special structures.

We still have the casual styling implemented in the collection, but everything can easily be glammed up and styled to fit any party.

We have a base and a classic colour scale with the beautiful dark blue tone Pageant Blue and Black, mixed up with fresh tones like the Zephyr Green and Bright Rose, and the more trendy tone Tapenade. An expressional colour palette for a typical "classic" collection.

Tapenade is something else - It makes a new exciting combination with almost all colours; It's earthy yet bright and golden together with the Pageant Blue. Romantic and soft when styled with Sesame and cool and edgy with the Black colour. And it shines so beautifully in our Garden-print story with the Pageant Blue colour. I love this new refreshing colour combination and how the, e.g., MMKaia Garden Shirt looks styled with dark blue jeans.

For luxurious knit yet casual styling, I adore the MMWren Stripe Knit Cardigan and the look with the cool MMRachel Albert Jeans and MMCacho V-SS Embroidery Tee. These three styles are the essence of rich and casual.

Glam up with our MMLeta Velvet Shirt. It has a vintage look in the soft-toned Sesame colour, and a beautiful (burn-out) velvet pattern. This shirt can easily be styled with any black pants or blue jeans, but I especially like this style paired with the MMGazy Leather Pant in the colour Tapenade - A soft and new look.

If you want an even more colourful party look, we have the Zephyr Green. A fresh colour that looks super trendy when styled with the Pageant Blue. A blazer that surely will turn all heads at a party is the jacquard-weaving MMGeena Rizi Blazer - it's such a luxurious style and a must in the Late Year collection.

The colour Black is a must this season. This powerful colour is a classic and helps bring out the glam feeling in any fabric or style. It’s also a “good companion” to most colours, as it shows the best in all the other colours. So this drop is a salute to the colour Black - thank you for always being a good companion with your slimming effect.

A classic style with a new look is our MMArven Roy Pant. This tailored pant has a "Grandad" fit, sitting high in the waist with pleats at the front and a wide thigh. It looks cool and casual when styled with knit blouses but is also very powerful with a tucked-in white shirt and blazer. Wear it with the black leather loafers from our Autumn Winter 2023 Collection, and you will have a cool look.

This collection's extra "Glam" topping is the MMSia Lala Blazer in the new soft-toned colour. We had this quality in the last Late Year 2022 in Black, but this new soft tone is gorgeous. It looks so rich, and the small feminine pleats at the front make it really special. I love this blazer styled with kick-flared pants in black but also with denim in a dark blue tone.

A shiny star in this drop is the colour, Bright Rose. We love it when styled in a more tone-in-tone look with the colour Beet Red - a bold combination that looks deep and powerful. The Bright Rose looks amazing on the MMNovia Blouse. This boho-inspired silhouette flatters the colour and jacquard fabric very well and gives it a rich look.

We still see co-ord sets as a trend, and in this collection, we have the wild MMFira Zebra Knit and MMFira Zebra Knit Skirt. It's a new look that combines casual styling with a special knit jacquard. We love it styled with the long MMPhoenix Leather Hi Boot from Autumn Winter 2023. Another set we love is the MMGirone LS Glam Blouse and MMZimu Glam Pant. This jacquard jersey with lurex perfectly combines a casual, glam, and cool look. It looks beautiful together but works amazing as separate parts as well. It's a new addition to the tailoring look.

I encourage you to use most of the Autumn Winter 2023 belts and shoes in the styling, as they go well in the Late Year 2023 look.
