Lines of Precision
Lines of Precision
A guide to suits and tailoring
Tailoring is a universe of precise lines, considered cuts, and silhouettes shaped to the body. At its core is the suit—one of the most versatile elements you can add to your wardrobe. It can evoke a sense of strength and confidence through a classic, timeless expression, while still leaving room for personal style.
In this guide, we explore MOS MOSH’s different tailoring fits and silhouettes—from trousers to blazers, from relaxed shapes to sharp lines.
How to read our product names
At MOS MOSH, every design has its own identity, making it easy to navigate between different fits, materials and categories.
The first word in our product names always refers to the fit.
Blake Night Blazer and Mary Night Blazer describe two different fits of our blazers.
The second word is the name of the fabric.
Blake Night Blazer tells you that the blazer is made in a fabric we call “Night”.
The third word describes the product category.
Blake Night Blazer tells you that the product is a blazer.

The lines of trousers
Trousers are often the starting point for the entire look. Small variations in leg width, rise, and length can shift the expression from classic and elegant to modern and more relaxed.
Blake is a timeless classic with a tapered fit and long rise, creating a flattering silhouette. The model offers generous room at the hips and thighs and gradually narrows towards the ankle. Ribbed cuffs at the ankles add a clean, sporty touch. The high waist gives a classic look, making them suitable for everyday wear as well as more formal occasions.
Abbey features a simple, classic fit that is neither too slim nor too loose. With a regular fit and mid rise, the silhouette feels balanced. Abbey offers room at the hips and legs, while the mid-rise waist ensures a natural and comfortable fit.
Leya has a straight fit and mid/high rise, creating a clean silhouette with a modern expression. The model falls straight from hip to ankle, delivering a relaxed yet polished feel, while the higher waist creates flattering proportions that pair well with both blazers and more casual tops.
Myla has a slim fit and mid rise, creating a streamlined and feminine silhouette. The model sits closer to the legs without feeling tight, while the mid-rise waist ensures a balanced and comfortable fit. An elegant choice that highlights a feminine shape.
Bai features a box fit and mid/high rise, resulting in a bold and modern silhouette. The boxy fit adds volume and a fashion-forward expression, while the higher waist creates feminine balance and pulls the look together. Bai represents a contemporary approach to the suit—perfect for a relaxed yet well-dressed look.
Ellen has a regular fit and mid rise, creating a classic silhouette with a clean expression. This makes the model easy to style and a versatile wardrobe staple that works across both everyday and more formal looks.

Blazer silhouettes
The blazer is the element that brings the look together. This is where shoulders, length, and waist define the silhouette and set the direction of the expression. Depending on the fit, a blazer can appear sharp and structured or more relaxed and fluid—supporting both style and need.
Blake features a fitted cut with a focus on form and structure. Designed for a classic tailored look, clean lines and precise fit create a sharp, well-defined expression. A timeless choice that elevates both formal and modern looks.
Mary has a relaxed fit that delivers a modern, effortless expression. The easy cut creates a soft silhouette with freedom of movement, adding a more laid-back feel to the suit—balancing polish with ease.
Leonora offers a fitted shape with a bit of extra length, resulting in a feminine and well-defined silhouette. The tailored fit highlights the body in an elegant way and creates a classic yet refined expression.
Phoebe features a regular fit that balances the fitted with the relaxed. The silhouette feels clean and harmonious with good freedom of movement, making the blazer easy to style for different occasions.

Shaped by lines
The strength of a suit lies in the ability to wear the pieces together or separately. With a classic shirt, the look feels clean and timeless. With a simple T-shirt or relaxed knit, the suit takes on a modern, effortless expression—without losing its precision. It’s about playing with contrasts and finding the balance that suits your everyday life and personal style.
Lines of Precision is a tribute to the details of tailoring: the considered lines, balanced proportions, and the fit that makes the difference. When tailoring is executed with precision and worn with personality, it becomes more than clothing. It becomes a tool for self-expression—defined by calm, strength, and confidence.
