BCI cotton is from cotton fields where the farmers are educated in the use of water and chemicals and are paid a fair price for the cotton. When we use BCI cotton it means that we are paying the organization to educate and train the farmers properly. We commit to increase our sourcing of BCI cotton every year, hence increasing our financial contribution as well.
A downside of BCI is that it is not traceable.
Organic cotton is cotton grown without the use of pesticides and GMO. Making it a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional cotton.
Recycled polymide normally derives from other polymide products. When we call this ‘sustainable’ it is because we are not using virgin polyamide and
therefore minimizing the use of natural resources.
Recycled polyester normally derives from recycled
PET bottles but can also come from recycled
polyester garments. When we call this ‘sustainable’
it is because we are not using virgin materials and
therefore minimizing the use of natural resources.

your leather garment you can keep it forever.
Post-consumer recycled cotton
Post-consumer recycled cotton derives from garments that have already been used and are sent back to be recycled. This could be worn out jeans or an old t-shirt, shredded down to short fibers, spun into new thread and weaved into new fabric. This is the most sustainable option.
All of our suppliers have changed to recycled polybags. Rethinking some of our processes has successfully reduced the number of polybags used with a considerable amount.
We use recycled paper to pack out styles for shipment. All of our jeans are rolled and wrapped in recycled paper instead of polybags, which reduce the use of plastic considerably.
All cardboard used internal for shipping are FSC certified, making sure to reduce environmental resources.
Made in Europe
More than 90% of our production is in Europe, which secures good working conditions. This means we are able to meet high quality standards and legislations within the world of sustainability and ethics in the production compared to conventional means. Keeping our productions close to us also means minimizing the fuel spend on transporting our products from production site to our warehouse, reducing our carbon footprint. We visit our suppliers regularly and use the same supplier’s season after season. This gives the supplier a possibility to give their employees better employment security.
To be continued…
Working towards a sustainable tomorrow is an on-going process, one that we are working on improving daily. Sustainability in fashion is not a quick fix, it takes time and effort. There is no planet B and we want MOS MOSH to stand strong when it comes to sustainability. We wish to be more traceable in our work and visible strategies, as reducing our environmental impact is a high priority for us.
